The purpose is clear.
I could search for hand outs, or I can live to be a helping hand.
Jason Koger lost both hands in a 2008 ATV accident and became the first person with bilateral arm amputations to use multi-articulating bionic hands. He now inspires others to live without limits. Jason shares his story nationwide, works with prosthetic companies Ossur and Arm Dynamics, and volunteers as a peer support at Vanderbilt Hospital.
At home, he helps his wife Jenny with their three kids. Known worldwide as a leading prosthetic user, Jason has appeared on national news, magazines, and the TedX stage. He made history as the first bilateral arm amputee to hunt a bear with a crossbow.
Jason founded the charity event Handing Back in Owensboro, Kentucky, raising over $30,000 with celebrity support. He recently published his book, Handed a Greater Purpose, and has earned awards like American Red Cross Hero of the Year.
Whatever comes next, Jason credits God and embraces every chance with his bionic hands.
